Frequently Asked Questions
- What is your primary photographic style - posed, formal, traditional, relaxed, photojournalistic, creative, artistic, or candid?
- We adjust our style to the taste and style of our clientele. The trend lately is to provide a few necessary traditional portraits and group shots, and then gear toward candid and photojournalistic styles. During most of the reception, we try to stay out of the way while still capturing the important events.
- Do you accept input on the direction of the shots? Can we provide a shot list for you to work from?
- Absolutely! These are your wedding photos. You will be treasuring your photos for a lifetime, and if you have a hand in what they look like, you will treasure them that much more.
- Can other people take photos while you are taking photos?
- For the group and candid shots, we certainly do not mind other people clicking away, as long as the bride and groom are comfortable.
- Do you shoot in color, black/white, or sepia? Do you shoot in a digital format that can create both color and black/white versions of the same picture?
- We shoot 100% digital, so there is no rush in making those decisions.
- Are you the photographer who will actually take our pictures? If not, can we meet the person and any assistants who will be taking our pictures?
- You will meet and interview the photographer who will actually be the one capturing your wedding, prior to any agreements being signed.
- What attire will you and your assistants wear?
- We dress to attend and be seen at a wedding. Suit and tie, unless you specify that the wedding is to be more formal or less formal.
- What happens if you are sick on our wedding day?
- We are part of a small network of professionals who are available to take my place.
- Do you book multiple events on the same day?
- We book a maximum of one event per photographer per day. You are our "reason for living" on your wedding day.
- If our wedding lasts longer than scheduled, will you stay? Is there an extra charge?
- We will stay until you release us to leave. We offer one wedding package, the Premium package, which includes unlimited photography time. If you choose a package with a time limit, additional time is billed at $75 per hour.
- How long after our wedding will the proofs be ready?
- Generally, the images will be available for online viewing within one week of the event, but usually are uploaded within just a few days.
- Do you have online viewing and ordering?
- Yes! We will bring password cards to the event so that all the family and friends can view the images online and order what they want.
- Do you offer "a la carte" pricing?
- Yes! Pricing is available upon request. You will always be able to order from us.
- What format do you provide the photos - print only, photo CD, etc.?
- With our Deluxe and Premium wedding packages, a disc (CD-ROM or DVD-ROM) will be provided at no additional charge. With our Economy and Standard packages, the disc may be purchased in addition to the package. Prints come with each package and are always available for purchase afterward, too.
- How much assistance will you provide in planning our wedding album?
- As much or as little as you want. You can get the images on disc and take care of it yourself, or you can leave it all to us, or anywhere in-between.
- Are you a member of any photography/wedding associations or groups?
- We are a member of the Georgia Professional Photographers' Association.
- How many times have you worked specifically as a wedding photographer?
- More than 20 over the last two years.
- Can you provide references?
- Yes! References are available upon request. You may also read our reviews on Kudzu.com.
