Frequently Asked Questions
- I am concerned about the lighting in the church where my ceremony will be held. I do not know if there is enough light for you to capture my ceremony. What can we do?
- I am many times faced with a poor lighting dilemma. I have overcome this by proper preparation with the proper equipment. If you would like to, we can meet at the venue prior to your wedding day and I can take some test shots to make sure that you feel comfortable about all your memories being captured the way they should be.
- Do you accept input on the direction of the shots? Can we provide a shot list for you to work from?
- Yes. You will be treasuring your wedding photos for a lifetime, and if you have a hand in what they look like, you will treasure them that much more.
- Can other people take photos while you are taking photos?
- For the group and candid shots, I certainly do not mind other people clicking away, as long as the bride and groom are comfortable.
- Are you the photographer who will actually take our pictures? If not, can we meet the person and any assistants who will be taking our pictures?
- I (Mark) am the photographer who will be shooting your wedding photos and I will be your primary contact.
- What attire will you and your assistants wear?
- I dress to attend and be seen at a wedding. Suit and tie, unless you specify that the wedding is to be more formal or less formal.
- If our wedding lasts longer than scheduled, will you stay? Is there an extra charge?
- We will stay until you release us to leave. We offer a wedding package, the Premium package, which includes unlimited photography time. If you choose a package with a time limit, additional time is billed at $150 per half-hour.
- Do you have online viewing and ordering?
- Yes. We will bring Web address/password cards to the event so that all the family and friends can view the images online and order at their convenience.
- How long after our wedding will the proofs be ready?
- Generally, the images will be available for online viewing within three weeks of the event. Physical proofs are available upon request for a fee.
- Do you offer "a la carte" pricing?
- Yes. Since each couple is different, your photography package will be custom tailored to suit your style and budget.
- In what format do you provide the photos - print only, photo CD, etc.?
- This is entirely up to you. Many couples just want the disc of images, while many want a professional album. Most couples choose both digital images and a professional album.
